On Wednesday February 11, at approximately 4:34 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell and Deputy Chris Barnett responded to the 9500 block of Seymour Hwy. in reference to a Medical Call.  While in route to the call, Deputies were advised that the juvenile male victim was being transported to United Regional Health Care Center for treatment.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that the juvenile male victim had pulled down a box of fireworks from a closet shelf and when the box fell from the shelf to the floor, the fireworks went off burning the victim.  The victim was later flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas by Air Evac.

On Wednesday February 11, at approximately 10:26 am, Deputy Greg Anderson and Deputy John Warner responded to the 300 block of F.M. 1177 in reference to Found Property.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that he found a brown purse in the bar ditch.  The purse was turned into the property room.

On Wednesday February 11, at approximately 11:19 pm, Deputy Brien Conner and Deputy Ralph Burdick responded to the 2100 block of Van Horn in reference to a Possible Overdose.  Upon arrival, a 54-year-old female was transported to United Regional Health Care Center by American Medical Response and was admitted to the hospital.
