On Wednesday August 30, at approximately 9:02 am, Deputy Donald Osborn responded to the 2000 block of Sliger Road in reference to an Animal Complaint. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that they had been feeding the animals at a nearby residence due to the fact that the owner had not been present for several days. An attempt was made to contact the owner of the animals, however there was no response.
On Thursday August 31, at approximately 9:19 pm, Deputy Jessica Serna made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Giddings. A 50-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram under four grams.
On Thursday August 31, at approximately 4:00 pm, Sergeant Cole McGarry took a report of a 44-year-old female that was reported as missing. The Reporting Person reported that the female has not been seen for several weeks.
On Thursday August 31, at approximately 11:33 am, Deputy Hunter McCain responded to the 400 block of Eastland in reference to an Animal Complaint. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an injured dog appeared on the property. Animal Control was contacted and upon their arrival, the dog was removed.
On Thursday August 31, at approximately 10:36 am, Corporal Jason Vandygriff responded to the 1600 block of F.M. 1740 in reference to a littering complaint. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject had dumped trash onto his property. The 54-year-old male suspect was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Disorderly Conduct.
On Thursday August 31, at approximately 2:56 am, Deputy Johnny Routon made a traffic stop at the intersection of Loop 11 and Mansur. The 33-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under one gram.
On Thursday August 31, at approximately 1:44 am, Deputy Jacob Williams made a traffic stop at the intersection of Merry Lane and Central Frwy East. The 20-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over four grams under two hundred grams.
On Thursday August 31, at approximately 1:06 am, Deputy Jorge Ramirez made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Holliday. The 34-year-old male driver exited the vehicle and began to run. He was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Evading Arrest/Detention with Previous Convictions and an outstanding warrant for Theft over $750.00 under $2,500.00.
