On Monday May 11, at approximately 10:15 pm, Deputy Chris Barnett made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 Access Road and Douglas.  The 32-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with three outstanding warrants for speeding 83/60, speeding 77/60 and fail to report change of address or name on drivers license.

On Monday May 11, at approximately 6:00 pm, Deputy Jeff Penney responded to the 2000 block of U.S. 287 in reference to an Animal Complaint.  Upon arrival a cow was impounded.

On Monday May 11, at approximately 6:30 pm, Corporal Lee Crossman responded to the 8000 block of Jacksboro Hwy in reference to a Burglary of a Building.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered a storage building and stole a Stihl FS 55 MC Weed Eater valued at $199.00, a Stihl MS 170 16” Chainsaw valued at $180.00 and a Troy Built Weed Eater valued at $100.00.

On Tuesday May 12, at approximately 2:30 am, Deputy Cole McGarry made a traffic stop in the 4600 block of University.  The 25-year-old male driver was issued two citations for No Drivers License and Fail to Maintain Proof of Liability Insurance.  The vehicle was impounded.
