On Wednesday February 28, at approximately 7:32 pm, Deputy Jason Vandygriff responded to the 1600 block of Haley Road in Reference to a Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered her property and damaged the window ledges and guttering on the exterior of her residence.

On Friday March 2, at approximately 1:25 am, Deputy Kristian Valdez and Deputy Christopher Bashford made a traffic stop at the intersection of Kemp and Piedmont. The 24-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On Saturday March 3, at approximately 8:53 am, Sergeant Sergio Teruel, Deputy Eric Jerrols, Deputy Daniel Jacobson, Deputy Amanda Price and Deputy J.T. Mitchell responded to the 1500 block of Monroe to serve an arrest warrant. Upon arrival, the 32-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram and an outstanding warrant for Bond Revocation-Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under 200 grams.

On Saturday March 3, at approximately 11:24 am, Sergeant Sergio Teruel, Deputy J.T. Mitchell and Deputy Amanda Price responded to the 100 block of Mesa in reference to a Disturbance. Upon arrival a 19-year-old female was barred from the property.

On Saturday March 3, at approximately 7:55 pm, Deputy Jason Vandygriff made a traffic stop at the intersection of Sheppard Road and Bishop Road. The 35-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams.

On Sunday March 3, at approximately 12:31 am, Deputy Kristian Valdez and Deputy Christopher Bashford responded to the 5500 block of F.M. 369 North in reference to a Medical Call. Upon arrival, a 59-year-old male was transported to United Regional Health Care by American Medical Response Ambulance and was admitted.

On Sunday March 4, at approximately 12:45 pm, Deputy J.T. Mitchell checked an occupied vehicle at the intersection of Holliday and 11th Street. The 37-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Public Intoxication.

On Sunday March 4, at approximately 10:10 a.m. Deputy J.T. Mitchell responded to 610 Holliday in reference to a Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) damaged an exterior mirror on her vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of Cindy Lane.

On Sunday March 4, at approximately 12:22 am, Corporal Josh Brown made a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Central Frwy. The 62-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Monday March 5, at approximately 12:59 am, Deputy Caleb Myers made a traffic stop in the 800 block of Loop 11. The 27-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

CITIZENS ACADEMY IS ABOUT TO START:

The Next Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy will start on March 8. This free fourteen week class will give you an insight on your Wichita County Sheriff’s Office. You learn about the different divisions of the Sheriff’s Office, you will get to drive a Sheriff’s Patrol Vehicle, Shoot different weapons that are used by the Sheriff’s Office and so much more.
