On March 20, 2020, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Deputy Roy Biter attempted to make contact with a resident in the Tealwood Apartment complex in Wichita Falls to return some found property.  Biter attempted several more times in the following days with no success.  The apartment complex staff and neighbors had no knowledge of the subject moving and had not seen her in several days.  Shawnte Robinson Smith, a 42 year old black female, was listed as a missing person on March 28, 2020.  Anyone with any information on her whereabouts can contact the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division.

On March 27, 2020, at approximately 9:53 a.m., Deputy JT Mitchell responded to the 9100 block of Rogers Lane for a medical assistance call.  While on scene, a party reported a trailer had been removed from the premises without consent.  The trailer was described as a homemade, 2 wheeler with wooden bed, and red in color.  It is valued at approximately $400.  A theft report was taken and the investigation in ongoing.

On March 30, 2020, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Deputies Brett Brasher and Matthew Schenck were dispatched to the 100 block of S. FM 369 in reference to a burglary of a building.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated someone had gained entrance into the building and taken several cases of unopened liquor.  Evidence was collected at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
