On Monday June 6, at approximately 12:10 am, Deputy Matthew Ferguson took a Threat Report. The Reporting Person reported that he received a text message demanding money or he would be harmed.

On Monday June 6, at approximately 5:11 pm, Lieutenant Greg Wilson responded to the 7500 block of Seymour Hwy. in reference to a Forgery in Progress. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject was attempting to cash a forged check. A 30-year-old female was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Forgery.

On Monday June 6, at approximately 9:58 am, Deputy Hunter Deason responded to the 1100 block of Shady Lane in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) stole three handguns from a safe that was located in a residence in the 600 block of Gresham Road.

On Monday June 6, at approximately 12:52 am, Deputy Robert La Mel made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Broad. A 29-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Fail to Identify/Fugitive from Justice and three outstanding traffic warrants and a Parole Warrant.

On Tuesday June 7, at approximately 8:34 pm, Deputy Matthew Ferguson and Deputy Amanda Ward responded to the 9800 block of Seymour Hwy. in reference to a Check Welfare. Upon arrival, a 45-year-old female was barred from the property.

On Tuesday June 7, at approximately 9:47 pm, Deputy Robert La Mel made a traffic stop at the intersection of 14th and Travis. The 44-year-old female driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Tuesday June 7, at approximately 6:47 pm, Deputy Robert La Mel made a traffic stop at the intersection of Giddings and Ave. E. The 21-year-old male driver was found to not have a current Drivers’ License, Financial Responsibility on the vehicle and the vehicle’s registration was expired. The vehicle was impounded.

On Tuesday June 7, at approximately 10:05 am, Deputy Hunter Deason responded to 600 Scott in reference to a subject falsifying a drug test. Upon arrival, a 19-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Falsification of a Drug Test.
