On Thursday July 25, at approximately 11:00 pm, Deputy Daniel Jacobson made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Rifle Range Road. The 21-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana over four ounces under five pounds, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over four grams under four hundred grams and Unlawful Carrying of Weapon.
On Friday July 26, at approximately 8:01 pm, Deputy Ivan Galarza stopped a subject in the 2200 block of Polk. The subject was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine. He fled the scene on foot.
On Saturday July 27, at approximately 11:19 pm, Sergeant Cole McGarry made a traffic stop at the intersection of Scott and 6th. The 22-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram under four grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 less than one gram and was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Saturday July 27, at approximately 7:44 pm, Deputy James Griffith made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Ridgeway. The 21-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Saturday July 27, at approximately 1:59 pm, Deputy J.T. Mitchell and Deputy Sean Bigham checked on an unoccupied vehicle in the 3400 block of Burkburnett Road. The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen out of Clay County.
On Saturday July 27, at approximately 12:06 pm, Deputy Amanda Ward responded to the 500 block of Wellington Lane in reference to a Medical Call. Upon arrival, a 93-year-old female was transported to United Regional Health Care by American Medical Response.
On Saturday July 27, at approximately 2:54 am, Deputy Caleb Myers responded to 1600 11th Street in reference to an Assault. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that she had been sexually assaulted on July 24 somewhere in Burkburnett Texas.
On Sunday July 28, at approximately 10:26 am, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Rifle Range Road. The male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Expired Registration.
On Sunday July 28, at approximately 1:40 am, Deputy Christopher Bashford made a traffic stop at the intersection of Business 287 J and City View. The 28-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
