On Friday January 6, at approximately 2:20 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and F.M. 2384. The 29-year-old male driver and a 26-year-old female passenger were placed under arrest after a Wichita County Sheriff’s K-9 alerted on the vehicle. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Possession of Marijuana over five pounds under fifty pounds. 28 grams of high grade marijuana was seized.
On Saturday January 7, at approximately 4:22 pm, Deputy J.T. Mitchell observed a Theft in Progress in the 3100 block of Midwestern Pkwy. The 46-year-old female was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Theft over $100.00 under $750.00, Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport and was barred from the property.
On Saturday January 7, at approximately 10:44 pm, Deputy Kristian Valdez made a traffic stop at the intersection of Ave. K and Taylor. The 20-year-old female driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Saturday January 7, at approximately 11:26 pm, Deputy Matthew Schenck made a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Southwest Pkwy. The 23-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with three outstanding warrants for two counts of Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility and Expired Vehicle Registration.
On Saturday January 7, at approximately 7:11 pm, Deputy Victoria Kamp made a traffic stop on U.S. 287 near the Johnson Road Exit. The 22-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
On Saturday January 7, at approximately 1:28 pm, Deputy Christopher Salas made a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Holliday. The 27-year-old male driver and a 30-year-old female passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver was charged with an outstanding warrant for Violation of Parole. The passenger was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams.
On Sunday January 8, at approximately 12:25 pm, Corporal Josh Brown made a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Cole. A 26-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest after a Wichita County Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted on the vehicle. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and six outstanding warrants for two counts of Capias Pro Fine-Possession of Marijuana under two ounces, Speeding 73/60, No Drivers License in Possession, Fail to Obtain City License Tag for Animal and Fail to Obtain Rabies Tag for Animal.
On Sunday January 8, at approximately 5:15 am, Deputy Matthew Schenck made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Central Frwy. The 30-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While License Invalid-Enhanced.
