On Monday August 24, at approximately 10:35 pm, Deputy Cole McGarry made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of 6th Street. The 32-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with three outstanding warrants for Disregarding No Left Turn, Speeding and Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
On Monday August 24, at approximately 7:40 pm, Deputy Gerald Morgan responded to the 1800 block of Easter Road in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) stole his black and gold 2008 Ford F-250 pickup.
On Monday August 24, at approximately 3:25 am, Deputy Greg Wilson checked an occupied vehicle in the 400 block of Rifle Range Road. The 32-year-old male driver and an 18-year-old female passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver was charged with Theft of a Firearm. The passenger was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams.
