On Monday August 8, at approximately 8:15 pm, Lieutenant Carl Magee, Sergeant Lee Crossman, Deputy David Stout and Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 1600 block of Fillmore to serve an arrest warrant.  The wanted person was not located.

On Tuesday August 9, at approximately 6:32 am, Deputy Paul Casillas and Deputy Greg Wilson responded to the 4000 block of Bacon Switch Road in reference to a Missing Child. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that his child was missing from home.  The child was located a short time later.

On Tuesday August 9, 8:37 am, Corporal Josh Brown responded to the intersection of Kincall and Homestead Lane to assist Clay County with a k-9 assist.

On Wednesday August 10, at approximately 11:35 am, Wichita County Highway Interdiction Deputies stopped two vehicles on U.S. 287 near Wellington Lane.  The 68-year-old male driver of one of the vehicles and the 25-year-old male driver of the second vehicle along with a 26-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Possession of Marijuana over five pounds under fifty pounds.  K-9 Deputy Cane alerted on one of the vehicles at which time 30 pounds of marijuana and $3.200.00 in currency was seized.
