On Tuesday August 11, at approximately 9:12 pm, Deputy Roy Biter made a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Iowa Park Road. The 31-year-old male driver and a 22-year-old female passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram under four grams, Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Wednesday August 12, at approximately 6:35 pm, Deputy Kristian Valdez responded to the 3300 block of Iowa Park Road in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject attempted to run her vehicle off the road while on Horseshoe Lake Road.
On Wednesday August 12, at approximately 3:00 pm, Corporal Lee Crossman responded to Headquarters Road and Baker Road in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered the property and stole a 1975 Ford F-250 Pickup valued at $5,000.00, a portable air compressor valued at $1.000.00, a Montazuma Tool Box Valued at $400.00 and a 120 gallon fuel tank with diesel valued at $200.00.
On Wednesday August 12, at approximately 8:10 am, Deputy John Warner and Deputy Patrick Bradford responded to the 300 block of Loop 11 in reference to a Burglary of a Vehicle. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) stole a pair of Rayban Prescription Sun Glasses valued at $400.00 from his vehicle while it was parked at River Creek Estates.
On Thursday August 13, at approximately 12:59 am, Corporal Ralph Burdick made a traffic stop in the 700 block of Pleasant View. The 44-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram under four grams.
On Thursday August 13, at approximately 9:37 am, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and F.M. 1739. The 49-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana over four ounces under five pounds and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over four hundred grams. Four pounds of Marijuana, 561.5 grams of THC Oil, Wax and Edibles were seized.
