On Tuesday June 23, at approximately 4:25 pm, Deputy Ralph Burdick made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Wellington Lane.  The 19-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Tuesday June 23, at approximately 12:00 pm, Deputy John Warner responded to the 1700 block of Elizabeth to serve an arrest warrant.  Upon arrival, the 65-year-old female was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug and an outstanding warrant for Violation of Probation-Driving While License Invalid.

On Tuesday June 23, at approximately 9:30 am, Wichita County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1600 block of Fillmore to execute a mental commitment warrant.  Upon arrival, the 31-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the North Texas State Hospital and was admitted.

On Wednesday June 24, at approximately 12:43 am, Deputy Gerald Morgan and Deputy David Stout responded to F.M. 367 west of Yucca in reference to a Traffic Hazzard in the roadway.  Upon arrival, the hazard was removed.
