On Tuesday April 21, at approximately 11:05 am, Deputy John Warner and Deputy Brian Koschak made a traffic stop in the 300 block of East Cash in Iowa Park. The 43-year-old male driver and a 40-year-old female passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
On Tuesday April 21, at approximately 5:23 pm, Sergeant Sergio Teruel and Deputy Jeff Penney responded to the intersection of Old Electra Road and Harmony Road in reference to a Check Welfare. Upon arrival a juvenile male and a dog were observed sitting on the side of the roadway. The juvenile’s guardian was notified to respond and upon her arrival, the juvenile was released to her custody.
