The Wichita County Commissioners Court took action on Monday April 20, 2015 to cancel the current declaration and burn band. Attached to this release are the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) which should be reviewed prior to burning which have criminal penalties if not followed. In addition, prior to burning, please notify your local fire department and the Sheriff’s Office at 940-766-8170 as well as the fire dispatcher for you location.
