On Wednesday March 18, at approximately 3:03 pm, Deputy Christopher Barnett made a traffic stop at the intersection of Holmes and Tulsa.  Deputy Barnett deployed his K-9 Partner Abel to conduct an open air sniff.  Deputy Abel indicated a positive alert for the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.  A 24-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana over twenty ounces under forty ounces in a Drug Free Zone and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

On Wednesday March 18, at approximately 3:53 pm, Deputy Ralph Burdick responded to the 1900 block of Harmony Road in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered the property and stole two Echo Weed Eaters valued at $700.00, a 3500 watt generator valued at $375.00, a five gallon air4 tank valued at $30.00, a ten gallon air tank valued at $50.00 and twenty gallons of gasoline valued at $70.00.
