On Thursday January 1, at approximately 1:29 am, Deputy Chris Barnett made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of North 6th Street. The 25-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and an outstanding warrant for Allowing Animal to run at Large.
On Thursday January 1, at approximately 1:42 am, Deputy Ralph Burdick and Deputy Brandon Mason responded to FM 1206 and Love Road in reference to a Traffic Accident. Upon arrival, it was revealed that the vehicle involved had left the area. They were than advised that a vehicle had run off the roadway near Hwy. 258 and Hwy. 25. Upon arrival to that location, a 32-year-old male and a 32-year-old female were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The male was charged with Public Intoxication and an outstanding warrant for Capias Pro Fine-Public Intoxication. The female was charged with Public Intoxication.
On Thursday January 1, at approximately 7:50 am, Deputy Ralph Burdick observed a vehicle parked on the Lloyd Ruby overpass. Upon checking the vehicle, a 48-year-old female was observed sitting on the guard rail with her feet dangling over the side. The female stated that she was going to jump. Deputy Burdick placed the female under arrest. She was transported to the North Texas State Hospital and was admitted under a Peace Officers Application for Emergency Detention.
On Thursday January 1, Lieutenant Ray Schultz and Sergeant Jerry Cox responded to the 4400 block of Westgate Drive in reference to a Check Welfare. Upon arrival, a 32-year-old female reported that she had been assaulted by a family member.
On Thursday January 1, at approximately 1:08 am, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Burnett. The 52-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On Thursday January 1, at approximately 2:22 am, Deputy Greg Wilson made a traffic stop in the 3600 block of Alabama. The 50-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On Thursday January 1, at approximately 10:25 am, Sergeant Jerry Cox, Corporal Mark Whipple and Deputy Patrick Bradford responded to the 4800 block of Barnett Road in reference to a Disturbance.
On Friday January 2, at approximately 12:38 am, Deputy Ralph Burdick made a traffic stop at the intersection of Seymour Hwy. and Fillmore. The 59-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility and the vehicle was impounded.
On Friday January 2, at approximately 6:40 pm, Deputy Lee Crossman and Deputy Greg Anderson responded to the North Texas State Hospital to pick up a prisoner. Upon arrival, a 26-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Assault and Criminal Mischief over $500.00 under $1,500.00.
On Friday January 2, at approximately 10:28 pm, Deputy Cole McGarry responded to the 1500 block of 10th Street to assist Deputy Greg Wilson on a Traffic Stop. Upon arrival, a 32-year-old female passenger was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Public Intoxication.
On Friday January 2, at approximately 9:53 pm, Deputy Greg Wilson was advised of a traffic accident in the 1500 block of 10th Street. Upon arrival, the 33-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated-2nd Offense.
On Friday January 2, at approximately 1:10 pm, Deputy Patrick Bradford and Deputy Sonja Arias responded to the 10000 block of Wiley Road in reference to a Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered the property and damaged a Moultrie Game Camera valued at $160.00.
On Friday January 2, Lieutenant Ken Terry, Sergeant Garland Prince and Deputy Scott Chapel responded to the 3200 block of Seymour Hwy. to serve a mental health warrant. Upon arrival, a 33-year-old female was placed under arrest. She was transported to the North Texas State Hospital and was admitted.
On Saturday January 3, at approximately 9:02 am, Corporal Mark Whipple, Deputy Patrick Bradford and Deputy Sonja Arias responded to the 8000 block of Tica Road in reference to a Check Welfare. Upon arrival, a 24-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.
On Saturday January 3, at approximately 4:57 pm, Deputy Jeff Penney responded to the 1900 block of FM 2384 in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered his property and stole three purebred greyhound hunting dogs valued at $2,250.00.
On Saturday January 3, at approximately 8:31 pm, Deputy Cole McGarry and Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 800 block of Huntington Lane in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered the property and stole a white Polaris Razor valued at $13,000.00.
On Saturday January 3, at approximately 2:14 pm, Corporal Mark Whipple made a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Maurine. The 66-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram.
On Sunday January 4, at approximately 1:19 am, Deputy Brandon Mason made a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Kell East. The 27-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On Sunday January 4, at approximately 1:00 am, Deputy Ralph Burdick and Deputy Brien Conner made a traffic stop in the 500 block of Sunset. The 25-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.
