On Wednesday December 3, at approximately 11:52 am, Sheriff David Duke, Sergeant Jerry Cox and Deputy Patrick Bradford responded to the area of Clower Road and Rogers Lane in reference to a Check Welfare of a male subject that was running through the area.  The male was located in the 3500 block of Clower Road.

On Wednesday December 3, at approximately 6:30 pm, Sergeant Sergio Teruel and Deputy Greg Wilson made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Broad.  The 57-year-old male driver was released from the scene and his vehicle was impounded after he was found to have a driving suspension and no proof of financial responsibility.

On Thursday December 4, at approximately 1:15 am, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin, Deputy Justin Mitchell, Deputy Chris Barnett and Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 2700 block of Southwest Parkway to assist the Wichita Falls Police Department with an Assault.

POSSIBLE TELEPHONE SCAM:

People are receiving telephone calls from a number shown to be out of Washington DC.  The Female caller with a heavy accent tells the person answering the telephone that they were selected to receive a $9,000.00 grant from the US Government for being a Loyal American. When asked what department was giving the grant, the caller hung up. The caller called from (202) 410-2585. It is a disconnected number on callback.
