On Friday August 23, at approximately 12:59 am, Caleb Myers made traffic stop in the 4900 block of Marsha. The 19-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant for Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.
On Saturday August 24, at approximately 9:57 pm, Deputy J.J. Hernandez made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Ridgeway. The 47-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and three outstanding warrants for Unrestrained Child, Occupant under 15 years Unrestrained and Open Container. The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen and was recovered.
On Saturday August 24, at approximately 4:30 pm, Deputy Darrell Waddleton made a traffic stop at the intersection of Ave. E and Harrison. The 29-year-old male driver fled the scene on foot. He was placed under arrest a short time later in the 1300 block of Britain. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with Previous Conviction, Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon, Theft of Firearm and an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation.
On Saturday August 24, at approximately 4:33 pm, Deputy Hunter Deason responded to the 1300 block of Britain to look for a subject that had fled from a traffic stop. The subject was located in a residence. A 23-year-old female was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution of known Felon.
On Saturday August 24, at approximately 3:17 pm, Deputy Ivan Galarza responded to the 7400 block of North Central Frwy. in reference to an accidental discharge of a firearm. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that she had been struck by a ricochet bullet.
