On August 21, 2018 at approximately 12:45 a.m., Corporal Kristian Valdez conducted a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Midwestern Parkway. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and the 20 year old driver of the vehicle was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 Over 4g/Under 400g, a Second Degree Felony.

On August 22, 2018 at approximately 7:00 a.m., Deputy JT Mitchell was dispatched to the 2800 block of Wranglers Retreat in reference to a loose cow. Upon arrival, deputies were unable to locate an owner and the livestock was secured and transported to the Humane Society by a contract cowboy.

On August 22, 2018 at approximately 11:49 p.m., Sergeant Cole McGarry and Deputy Joshua McGuinn were dispatched to the 2100 block of River Road in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, the reporting party stated a known subject removed property from the residence without permission. The 66 year old male was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Theft Over $100/Under $750, a Class B Misdemeanor.
