On Sunday April 8, at approximately 8:37 pm, Deputy Hunter Deason made a traffic stop in the 1500 block of East Hatton Road. During the stop a 38-year-old male fled the scene on foot into a field. The subject was located a short time later. The 28-year-old female driver and the 38-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The female was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under 200 grams. The male was charged with Evading Arrest/Detention, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over 400 grams, Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair and an outstanding warrant for Order Revoking Bond for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams in a Drug Free Zone.

On Monday April 9, at approximately 12:00 pm, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin responded to the 2100 block of F.M. 367 East in reference to a Deceased Person. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a 60-year-old male had expired at the residence of natural causes.

On Monday April 9, at approximately 1:12 am, Deputy Caleb Myers and Deputy Matthew Schenck made a traffic stop in the 4600 block of Southwest Pkwy. The 58-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for theft over $100.00 under $750.00.

On Monday April 9 at approximately 11:41 pm, Lieutenant Mark Whipple made a traffic stop at the intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd and 3rd Street. The 21-year-old male driver and a 21-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and three outstanding warrants for Capias Pro Fine-No Drivers License in Possession, Capias Pro Fine-Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility and Capias Pro Fine-Expired Motor Vehicle Registration. The passenger was charged with an outstanding warrant for No Drivers License.
