On February 19, 2018, at approximately 7:11 p.m., Deputy Hunter Deason attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the area of Brook Avenue and 11th Street. The suspect attempted to evade and continued traveling until coming to a stop in the 1600 block of Lucile. The 22 year old male driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2, Tampering with Evidence, and Evading Arrest in Motor Vehicle. The 22 year old male passenger was also arrested and transported to the Detention Center. He is being charged with Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2 and Tampering with Evidence.

On February 20, 2018, at approximately 9:18 a.m., Corporal Jeff Penney conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Fell Lane. The 43 year old male driver was arrested and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and is being charged with Unlawful Possession of Firearm.
