On Thursday February 15, at approximately 7:45 pm, Sergeant Ralph Burdick and Deputy Carl Magee responded to the 400 block of Melanie in reference to a Medical Call. Upon arrival, an 81-year-old female was found deceased of natural causes.

On Thursday February 15, at approximately 12:45 pm, Sergeant Sergio Teruel, Deputy J.T. Mitchell and Deputy Daniel Jacobson responded to the 2300 block of 10th Street to serve an outstanding warrant. Upon arrival, a 37-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Surety Off Bond-Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under two hundred grams.

On Thursday February 15, at approximately 3:19 pm, Sergeant Ralph Burdick and Deputy Carl Magee responded to the 13000 block of F.M. 368 South in reference to a Civil Dispute. Upon arrival, a 35-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were barred from the property.

On Thursday February 15, at approximately 3:36 pm, Deputy Brian Koschak responded to the 2000 block of F.M. 367 in reference to a Forgery. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) forged a check on his account in the amount of $450.00.

CITIZENS ACADEMY IS ABOUT TO START:

The Next Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy will start on March 8. This free fourteen week class will give you an insight on your Wichita County Sheriff’s Office. You learn about the different divisions of the Sheriff’s Office, you will get to drive a Sheriff’s Patrol Vehicle, Shoot different weapons that are used by the Sheriff’s Office and so much more.
