On February 02, 2018 at approximately 10:40 a.m., Deputy JT Mitchell and Sergeant Sergio Teruel arrested a 61 year old male on an outstanding Wichita County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1. During a search subsequent to the arrest, deputies found the male to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and is being charged with the outstanding warrant and Possession of Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 under 1g.
On February 02, 2018 at approximately 10:40 a.m., Deputy Ivan Galarza conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of MLK Boulevard. The 32 year old female was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and is being charged with outstanding Wichita Falls Municipal Court warrants for No Driver’s License and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
On February 02, 2018 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Deputy Kristian Valdez conducted a traffic stop in the area of Avenue R and Grant Street. The 25 year old male driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released from the scene.
On February 03, 2018 at approximately 12:32 p.m., Deputies responded to the 900 block of FM 1740 in response to a medical call. Upon arrival, the deputies located a deceased male in the residence. The 62 year old male is believed to have died of natural causes. The investigation is ongoing.
On February 03, 2018 at approximately 2:08 a.m., Deputy Eric Jerrols conducted a traffic stop in the area of Midwestern Parkway and Cedar Elm Lane. The 48 year old female driver was arrested and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. She is being charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On February 03, 2018 at approximately 8:05 p.m., Deputy Andrew Speegle conducted a traffic stop in the 5400 block of Madiliz Road. The 25 year old female driver was issued a citations for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility and No Driver’s License. The vehicle was subsequently impounded due to lack of liability insurance. The driver was released from the scene.
On February 03, 2018 at approximately 12:32 p.m., Deputy Hunter Deason conducted a traffic stop in the area of Maurine Street and Central Freeway. The 58 year old male driver was issued citations for No Driver’s License and Expired Registration. The vehicle was subsequently impounded due to lack of liability insurance. The driver was released from the scene.
On February 04, 2018 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Deputy Ivan Galarza conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sheppard Access Road and Pleasant View Drive. The 53 year old male driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2oz., as well as two outstanding Cotton County warrants for Failure to Pay- Possession of Controlled Substance and Motion to Revoke- Possession of Controlled Substance.
On February 05, 2018 at approximately 04:18 p.m., Corporal Josh Brown conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of US 287. The 20 year old female driver was issued citations for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and No Driver License and released from the scene.
