On January 30, 2018 at approximately 10:16 p.m., Deputy Carl Magee conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of 8th Street. The male passenger exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the subject. The 32 year old female driver of the vehicle was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. She is being charged with 2 outstanding Wichita Falls Municipal Court warrants for Expired Motor Vehicle Registration and No Driver’s License in Possession. A warrant has been issued for the fleeing subject.
On January 30, 2018 at approximately 10:16 p.m., Deputy Carl Magee conducted a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Old Iowa Park Road. The 30 year old male driver was issued a citation for Driving While License Suspended and released from the scene. The uninsured vehicle was impounded.
On January 31, 2018 at approximately 9:31 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of SH 258 in reference to gunshots in the area. Upon arrival the reporting party stated an unoccupied motorcycle was parked in the street. Deputies attempted to locate the owner of the motorcycle several times, but were unable to. The motorcycle was impounded to prevent the consequences of theft.
