On January 05, 2018 at approximately 11:32 p.m., Deputy Caleb Myers was on patrol in the 5400 block of Ricci Street. Myers made contact with an intoxicated individual. The 31 year old male was issued a citation for Public Intoxication and released to a friend.
On January 05, 2018, at approximately 2:17 a.m., Deputy Matthew Schenk attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Lawrence Road. The driver fled the scene in a vehicle. Deputies caught up to and apprehended the subject in the 4000 block of Rhea Road. The 29 year old male was arrested and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Aggravated Assault on Public Servant and Evading Arrest with a Vehicle.
On January 05, 2018, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a deputy with the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Drug Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop on US 287 South in the area of Maurine Street. The Deputy conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and located 27 pounds of marijuana within the vehicle. The 24 year old driver, a 32 year old passenger, and a 31 year old passenger were arrested and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. They are all being charged with Possession of Marijuana over 5 pounds under 50 pounds.
On January 06, 2018, at approximately 3:16 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of Cameron Lane in reference to a burglary in progress. After searching the area and not locating any suspects, the property owner stated a Suzuki dirt bike valued at $700 was found to be missing.
On January 06, 2018, at approximately 2:07 p.m., Deputy JT Mitchell was dispatched to the 700 block of Huntington Lane in reference to a criminal mischief call. The reporting party stated an unknown subject had vandalized a trampoline, inflatable yard decoration, and vehicle on the property.
On January 06, 2018, at approximately 9:21 p.m., Sergeant Ralph Burdick conducted a traffic stop in the area of Martin Luther King Boulevard and 7th Street. The 68 year old male was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Driving While Intoxicated and an outstanding Wichita Falls Municipal warrant for Failure to Remove Weeds and Debris.
On January 07, 2018, at approximately 6:15 a.m., Deputy Brett Brasher located a vehicle parked on the side of the road of US 287. A 17 year old passenger was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released.
On January 06, 2018, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Deputy Brian Koschak attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Flood Street. The driver fled the scene in a vehicle before finally coming to a stop in the area Lincoln Street and Clay Street. The 66 year old male was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana under 2oz.
On January 07, 2018, at approximately 12:33 a.m., Corporal Jeff Lee conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Southwest Parkway. The 21 year old driver was arrested and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
