On Wednesday July 5, at approximately 2:10 am, Deputy Josh McGuinn attempted to stop a vehicle in the 1000 block of Scott. The driver exited the vehicle in the 600 block of Sunset while it was still moving and fled on foot. The vehicle was impounded.
On Thursday July 6, at approximately 10:03 pm, Deputy Carl Magee made a traffic stop at the intersection of Scott and 10th. The 45-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with two outstanding warrants for No Drivers License in Possession and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Thursday July 6, at approximately 11:36 pm, Corporal Cole McGarry and Deputy Caleb Myers made a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Iowa Park Road. The 39-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under two hundred grams and an outstanding warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under 200 grams and an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation.
