On Friday August 26, at approximately 9:22 pm, Deputy David Stout responded to U.S. 287 and Harmony Road in reference to a female running down the highway.  Upon arrival, a 66-year-old female was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the North Texas State Hospital and was admitted under a peace officers request for emergency detention.

On Saturday August 27, at approximately 11:39 am, Corporal Josh Brown made a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Layfette.  The 33-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Obtaining Cash by False Pretentions.  She was also issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Saturday August 27, at approximately 8:37 pm, Corporal Ralph Burdick made a traffic stop at the intersection of 6th Street and Austin.  The 63-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with two or more convictions.

On Saturday August 27, at approximately 1:00 am, Deputy Matthew Schenck made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of North Scott.  The driver was issued a warning for speeding.

On Sunday August 28, at approximately 9:55 am, Deputy J.T. Mitchell responded to I-44 and Daniels Road in reference to a Hit and Run Accident.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) struck a fence with a vehicle and the fled the scene.  The damage was estimated at $1,000.00.

On Sunday August 28, at approximately 7:16 pm, Deputy David Stout responded to the 3700 block of Church Camp Road in reference to a fire.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a clothes dryer had caught on fire.

On Sunday August 28, at approximately 3:00 pm, Sergeant Lee Crossman, Deputy Daniel Jacobson and Deputy Brett Brasher responded to the Iowa Park Police Department in reference to a Disturbance that occurred on U.S. 287 and Bell Road.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a verbal disturbance had occurred earlier on this date.

On Sunday August 28, at approximately 11:50 pm, Deputy Greg Wilson made a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Scott.  The 36-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Failed to Identify/Fugitive From Justice, Driving While License Invalid with previous conviction, Resist Arrest/Search or Transportation, Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and an outstanding warrant for Driving While License Invalid.

On Monday August 29, at approximately 2:51 am, Deputy Paul Casillas and Deputy Amanda Price responded to the 5300 block of Friberg Church Road in reference to a Medical Call.  Upon arrival, an 81-year-old male was pronounced deceased of natural causes.
