On Wednesday January 13, at approximately 12:47 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and S.H. 25.  The 24-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.   He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana over five pounds under fifty pounds.  Twelve pounds of marijuana was seized.

On Wednesday January 13, at approximately 3:20 am, Deputy Brandon Mason made a traffic stop at the intersection of Seymour Hwy. and Kemp.  A 48-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and three outstanding warrants for Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility, No Drivers License in Possession and Fugitive from Justice/Parole Violation-Dangerous Drugs.

On Wednesday January 13, at approximately 9:45 am, Deputy Patrick Bradford and Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to the 5500 block of Professional Drive to serve an arrest warrant.  Upon arrival, a 21-year-old female was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and an outstanding warrant for Bond Forfeiture-Possession of a Controlled Substance under twenty-eight grams.

On Wednesday January 13, at approximately 9:00 am, Sergeant Sergio Teruel responded to the 500 block of Lamar in reference to an abandoned vehicle.  Upon arrival, the vehicle was impounded after the owner could not be contacted.
