On Friday December 11 at approximately 3:42 pm, Deputy Gerald Morgan responded to the 3800 block of Rifle Range Road in reference to an Animal Complaint. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that two dogs appeared on the property. Animal Control was contacted and upon their arrival, the dogs were impounded.
On Friday December 11, at approximately 11:15 am, Sergeant Sergio Teruel responded to the 6100 block of FM 369 north in reference to an Unresponsive Person. Upon arrival, a 44-year-old male was found deceased in the backyard of the residence. The incident is under investigation. No foul play is suspected at this time.
On Saturday December 12, at approximately 9:50 am, Corporal Josh Brown made a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Central Frwy. The 24-year-old male driver and a 28-year-old female passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram under four grams.
On Saturday December 12, at approximately 11:42 pm, Deputy David Stout made a traffic stop at the intersection of Scott and 6th. The 35-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for No Drivers License.
On Sunday December 13, at approximately 2:05 am, Deputy Greg Wilson made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Huff Street. The 56-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more Offense.
On Sunday December 13, at approximately 12:45 pm, Deputy Patrick Bradford and Deputy Joshua McGuinn responded to the 48 block of Nashua Drive in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) stole a Ruger 1911 45 caliber handgun from valued at $865.95.
On Sunday December 13, at approximately 12:09 am, Deputy Jeff Lee made a traffic stop at the intersection of Scott and 7th Street. The 24-year old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On Sunday December 13, at approximately 1:33 am, Sergeant Mark Whipple made a traffic stop at the intersection of Scott and 15th Street. The 45-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While License Invalid-Enhanced.
On Sunday December 13, at approximately 6:14 am, Deputy David Stout responded to U.S. 287 and County Line Road in reference to a Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered the oil lease and turned off an alarm system. The person(s) then turned off several valves to oil lines causing an overflow.
On Monday December 14, at approximately 1:16 am, Sergeant Mark Whipple made a traffic stop at the intersection of Kenley and Iowa Park Road. The 23-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.
