On Tuesday October 20, at approximately 5:49 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Business 287. The 65-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana over four ounces under five pounds. $4,220.00 in currency and debit cards were seized.
On Thursday October 22, at approximately 9:10 am, Deputy Lance Brumley responded to the 1600 block of F.M. 368 in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting person reported that 24 dogs had been stolen from the property.
On Thursday October 22, at approximately 5:01 pm, Deputy Cole McGarry responded to the intersection of F.M. 367 and Wellington Lane to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety with a minor traffic accident.
