In response to the Covid 19 emergency, the jail commissary kiosk at the Wichita County Courthouse, Jail Annex, and the Sheriff’s Office Front Office will no longer accept deposits. Please feel free to use any of the following deposit methods:
Effective at 8:00 am on Friday March 20. You can also mail deposits (money order only) to P.O. Box 8466, Wichita Falls, TX 76307 for the downtown facility or to P.O. Box 8526 for the annex facility, Wichita Falls, Texas 76307.

Visitation sign up will begin at 07:00am and end at 07:00pm.
Solitary visitation for November 28th will be moved to November 25th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Sign up starts at 8:00AM and ends at 07:00PM.
On October 4, 2019 at approximately 12:19 a.m., Deputy Sean Bigham conducted a traffic stop in the area of Avenue C and Britain Street. The 28 year old male driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Driving While Intoxicated with Prior Conviction a Class A Misdemeanor.
On October 5, 2019, at approximately, 3:39 p.m., Deputy Amanda Ward conducted a traffic stop in the area of Taft Boulevard and Southwest Parkway. The 27 year old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released from the scene.
On October 5, 2019, at approximately, 2:25 p.m., Deputies Amanda Ward and Darrell Waddleton responded to the area of River Road and Cameron Lane in reference to a subject walking in the middle of the roadway. The 27 year old male subject was transported to the North Texas State Hospital under an Emergency Mental Commitment Order.
On October 5, 2019, at approximately, 12:57 a.m., Sergeant Cole McGarry conducted a traffic stop in the area in the area of Wichita Street and Scott Avenue. The 19 year old female driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. She is being charged with outstanding Tarrant County warrants for Theft of Property $100-$750 and Theft of Property $750-$2500.
On October 6, 2019, at approximately, 1:22 p.m., Deputy Darrell Waddleton conducted a traffic stop in the area of Kemp and Avenue K. The 47 year old male driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1, a 2nd Degree Felony. A 34 year old male passenger was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released from the scene.
On October 7, 2019, at approximately, 11:06 p.m., Deputy JJ Hernandez conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Sheppard Access Road. The 31 year old male driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He is being charged with Violation of Court Orders.
On October 7, 2019, at approximately, 1:40 p.m., Deputy Darrell Waddleton responded to the Iowa Park Police station in reference to a dog bite. Upon arrival the reporting party, stated she had been bitten by a dog in the 1200 block of Harmony Road. Pictures of the injuries and a report were taken. The investigation is ongoing.
On Sunday September 22, at approximately 1:18 pm, Deputy J.T. Mitchell and Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to the 100 block of Pecanway in reference to a Suspicious Person.
On Monday September 23, at approximately 9:23 am, Deputy Matthew Schenck made a traffic stop on F.M. 369 near F.M. 367. The 24-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon.
On Monday September 23, at approximately 1:20 pm, Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 4400 block of Iowa Park Road in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject stole her prescription medication from the residence.
On Tuesday September 24, at approximately 8:20 am, Sergeant Sergio Teruel responded to 900 7th in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) stole funds from his bank account.
On Tuesday September 24, at approximately 8:40 am, Sergeant Sergio Teruel responded to the 3900 block of Bacon Switch Road in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the reporting person reported that a subject entered the business and stole $3,000.00 worth of tools.
On Wednesday September 25, at approximately 12:44 am, Lieutenant Mark Whipple checked on an occupied vehicle in the 1300 block of Pecanway. The 26-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. rity51 \
On Thursday September 12, at approximately 7:11 pm, Deputy J.J. Hernandez responded to the 15000 block of S.H. 240 in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject stole a White Nissan Altima from his residence.
On Thursday September 12, at approximately 3:16 pm, Deputy J.J. Hernandez responded to the 3300 block of Peterson Road South in reference to a Credit/Debit Card Abuse. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) made an unauthorized purchase in the amount of $348.81 on her debit card and attempted to make two other purchases with the card.
On Friday September 13, at approximately 7:00 am, Deputy Gabriel Villarreal responded to the 3100 block of Borton in reference to a Burglary of a Vehicle. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered his vehicle and stole a pair of Air Jordan shoes valued at $125.00.
On Saturday September 14, at approximately 9:58 pm, Deputy Darrell Waddleton made a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Iowa Park Road. The 59-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On Saturday September 14, at approximately 7:46 pm, Corporal Jason Vandygriff responded to the 1100 block of Springlake Road in reference to a Burglary in Progress. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject had entered the residence without permission.
On Saturday September 14, at approximately 5:28 pm, Deputy Aaron Perkins responded to the 3100 block of Midwestern Pkwy. in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, an 18-year-old female was issued a citation for Theft under $100.00 and was barred from the property.
On Sunday September 15, at approximately 1:39 am, Corporal Kristian Valdez, Deputy Aaron Perkins and several other Deputies responded to East 3rd. and the North Oklahoma Cutoff to assist the Burkburnett Police Department who was looking for an intoxicated person.

On Tuesday May 28, at approximately 4:16 pm, Deputy Eric Jerrols responded to the 6200 block of Bell Roade in reference to a Disturbance. Upon arrival, a 67-year-old female was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Assault/Family Violence.
On Tuesday May 28, at approximately 12:40 pm, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop at the intersection of Maurine and Ridgeway. The driver was issued a citation for No Drivers License. The 25-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and an outstanding warrant for Bond Forfeiture-Criminal Trespass.
On Tuesday May 28, at approximately 2:00 pm, Sergeant Sergio Teruel and Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to the 12000 block of Mt. Carmel in reference to a Check Welfare.
On Wednesday May 29, at approximately 8:36 am, Deputy J.T. Mitchell checked on an unoccupied vehicle on U.S. 287 just north of Harmony Road. The vehicle was impounded.
On Wednesday May 29, at approximately 11:37 pm, Deputy Christopher Bashford made a traffic stop at the intersection of Jacksboro and Galveston. The 58-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On Wednesday May 29, at approximately 4:43 pm, Corporal Jason Vandygriff responded to the 8200 block of Carriage Lane in reference to a Check Welfare. Upon arrival, a 55-year-old male was found deceased. The cause of death is under investigation. 3

On Friday May 24, at approximately 12:59 am, Deputy Brett Brasher made a traffic stop at the intersection of Kemp and Carter. The 24-year-female driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Friday May 24, at approximately 6:56 pm, Deputy Eric Jerrols made a traffic stop at the intersection of Beverly and Seymour Road. The 60-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and Tampering with, Fabricating Physical Evidence.
On Friday May 24, at approximately 2:19 am, Deputy Daniel Jacobson made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of 16th Street. The 56-year-old female driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Saturday May 25, at approximately 9:22 am, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and F.M. 369. The 29-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Saturday May 25, at approximately 1:24 am, Deputy Hunter McCain made a traffic stop at the intersection of Iowa Park Road and Central Frwy. The 26-year-old female driver was issued a citation for No Drivers License. A 21-year-old female passenger was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Capias Pro Fine-Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility. She was also issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Sunday May 26, at approximately 10:30 pm, Deputy Ivan Galarza checked on an occupied vehicle in the 1100 block of S.H. 79. A juvenile male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the North Texas State Hospital and was admitted under a Peace Officers Application for Emergency Detention.
On Monday May 27, at approximately 10:15 am, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop at the intersection of Scott and 2nd. The 30-year-old male driver was issued citations for Ran Red Light and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Tuesday May 28, at approximately 2:40 am, Deputy Hunter McCain made a traffic stop at the intersection of Lake Park Drive and Southwest Parkway. The 19-year-old female driver and a 23-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver was charged with two outstanding warrants for Speeding. The passenger was charged with four outstanding warrants for two counts of Expired Motor Vehicle Registration and two counts of Driving While License Invalid.
