FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On Thursday May 22, at approximately 12:57 am, Corporal Josh Brown made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of 8th Street. The 27-year-old male driver and a 26-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver was charged with Driving While License Invalid and an outstanding warrant for Fail to stop at a Stop Sign. The Passenger was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Thursday May 22, at approximately 1:40 am, Deputy Ralph Burdick and Deputy Chris Barnett responded to the intersection of 35th and Armory Road to assist Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin with a traffic stop. Upon arrival, a 21-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Assault/Family Violence and an outstanding warrant for Assault on a Public Servant.
On Thursday May 22, at approximately 6:21 am, Corporal Josh Brown made a traffic stop in the 500 block of Holliday. A 51-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Reckless Driving and an outstanding warrant for Occupant over 15 unsecured by seatbelt.
