On Tuesday February 24, at approximately 10:39 am, Chief Derrald Choate, Sergeant Garland Prince, Corporal Mark Whipple and Deputy Greg Anderson responded to the 900 block of Gee Lane in reference to a Medical Call. Upon arrival, a 65-year-old female was found unresponsive. She was transported to United Regional Health Care by American Medical Response and expired a short time later of natural causes.
On Tuesday February 24, at approximately 10:00 pm, Deputy Brien Conner made a traffic stop at the intersection of East Scott and Galveston. The 46-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more Offense.
