On Tuesday September 8, at approximately 8:58 am, Sergeant Sergio Teruel and Deputy John Warner observed a subject exiting a residence carrying a gun case in the 1700 block of Cameron Lane. Upon approaching the subject, he fled on foot. The 19-year-old male was located a short time later and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Evading Arrest/Detention.
On Tuesday September 8, at approximately 3:30 pm, Deputy Jeff Penney and Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 1900 block of Bailey Road in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) forced open a rear door to the residence and entered. No property was found missing at the time of the report.
On Tuesday September 9, at approximately 9:01 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop on U.S. 287 near the rest area. The 48-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Fraud.
