On Tuesday May 12, at approximately 3:30 pm, Deputy Ralph Burdick and Deputy Jeff Penney responded to the 2000 block of Hwy. 79 in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation in Progress.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that he arrived at the residence and observed a subject carrying items from the residence.  The subject then fled the scene in a red vehicle.  Deputy Scott Chapel observed the vehicle travelling on Andrews and began pursuing it.  The vehicle wrecked out at the intersection of Elwood and Mitchel.  The 51-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Burglary of a Habitation and Evading Arrest/Detention with Vehicle.

On Tuesday May 12, at approximately 7:21 pm, Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 3000 block of F.M. 369 in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that there had been a verbal argument with neighbors prior to Deputies arrival.  All parties involved barred each other from their respective properties.
