On Friday May 8, at approximately 7:10 pm, Deputy Gabriel Villarreal observed a structure fire in the 700 block of East Michigan in Electra.  It was determined that the fire started when a lantern was accidentally knocked over.

On Friday May 8, at approximately 11:10 am, Deputy John Glaze stopped an individual in the 600 block of Scott.  The 50-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Public Intoxication.

On Friday May 8, at approximately 9:19 pm, Corporal Lee Crossman and Corporal Mark Whipple responded to Thrift and Morgan Road in reference to an Occupied Vehicle Check.

On Saturday May 9, at approximately 9:12 am, Deputy Patrick Bradford and Deputy Gerald Morgan responded to the 2800 block of Southwest Parkway in reference to a Burglary of a Building.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person stole a 20’ power cord valued at $100.00 from his recreational vehicle.  It was also revealed that a coin operated dryer was damaged during an attempt to remove coins from it.

On Saturday May 9, at approximately 11:15 am, Deputy Patrick Bradford and Deputy Gerald Morgan responded to the 900 block of Sandy Road in reference to an Animal Complaint.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a neighbor’s dog continues to get on his property.

On Sunday May 10, at approximately 8:18 pm, Deputy Chris Barnett made a traffic stop at the intersection of Ave B and Monroe.  A 23-year-old female passenger was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces in a drug free zone and an outstanding warrant for Theft over $50.00 under $500.00.
