On Thursday July 21, at approximately 8:26 pm, Corporal Ralph Burdick made a traffic stop at the intersection of North Beverly and Northwest Drive. The 37-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.
On Thursday July 21, at approximately 2:00 am, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Kell East. The 26-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On Thursday July 21, at approximately 2:34 pm, Deputy Kristian Valdez and Deputy Daniel Jacobson responded to the 2800 block of Central Frwy. East in reference to a Mental Commitment. Upon arrival, a 35-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the North Texas State Hospital and was admitted under a Peace Officers Application for Emergency Detention.
On Saturday July 23, at approximately 10:00 am, Deputy Kristian Valdez and Deputy Daniel Jacobson responded to the 600 block of Scott in reference to a Forgery. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject made a payment using a counterfeit $50.00 bill.
On Saturday July 23, at approximately 9:53 pm, Corporal Ralph Burdick made a traffic stop at the intersection of Central Frwy. and Iowa Park Road. The 34-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with two outstanding warrants for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and No Drivers License. The driver was also issued citations for No Drivers License in Possession and No Insurance.
On Saturday July 23, at approximately 8:41 am, Deputy Jeff Lee observed a subject walking at the intersection of 5th and Broad. When he approached the subject, he fled on foot. The 32- year-old male was located a short time later in the 300 block of Broad and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.
