On Tuesday February 1, at approximately 1:50 pm, Wichita County Highway Interdiction Deputies responded to U.S. 287 and S.H. 25 to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety with a traffic stop. A Wichita County K-9 alerted on the vehicle, at which time over five pounds under fifty pounds of high grade marijuana and over one gram under four grams of hash was seized.
On Tuesday February 1, at approximately 1:09 pm, Sergio Teruel and Deputy Jeff Lee responded to the 700 block of Sullivan Street to serve an arrest warrant. Upon arrival, a stolen vehicle out of Oklahoma was recovered.
