On Wednesday April 15, at approximately 2:36 pm, Corporal Mark Whipple responded to the 1000 block of Central Frwy. to serve an arrest warrant. Upon arrival, the 42-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Sex Offender Duty to Register Life/Annually. Jason William Brown, white male, 11-23-72. Bond has been set at $150,000.00.
On Wednesday April 15, at approximately 8:20 pm, Deputy Roy Biter made a traffic stop in Hammon Ranch Road. Deputy Gabriel Villarreal and his K-9 Partner Cane were requested to respond to the scene. Upon their arrival, Deputy Villarreal and his partner conducted an open air sniff. Deputy Cane gave a positive alert for the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed that the subjects were manufacturing methamphetamine. The 32-year-old female driver and a 33-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over two hundred grams under four hundred grams and Possession of Certain Chemicals with intent to manufacture a Controlled Substance.
