Daily Crime Brief, September 6, 2019

On Thursday September 5, at approximately 9:24 pm, Lieutenant Greg Wilson and Deputy Daniel Jacobson responded to the 8100 block of Seymour Hwy. in reference to an intoxicated person.  Upon arrival, a 37-year-old female was arrested.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Public Intoxication.

On Thursday September 5, at approximately 3:29 pm, Deputy James Griffith responded to the 6200 block of Central Frwy. in reference to a Threat.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject had been make threats.

Daily Crime Brief, September 5, 2019

On Monday September 2, at approximately 3:05 am, Deputy Roy Biter and Deputy Sean Bigham made a traffic stop at the intersection of Professional and Greenbriar.  The 31-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Violation of Court Order/Enjoining Organized Criminal Activity.

On Monday September 2, at approximately 9:13 pm, Deputy Darrell Waddleton responded to the 5100 block of Navajo Trail in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) stole a wallet from his residence and then made several unauthorized purchases using his Master Card in the amount of $411.17.

On Tuesday September 3, at approximately 11:04 am, Deputy Amanda Ward responded to the 16000 block of F.M. 368 in reference to a Deceased Person.  Upon arrival, a 50-year-old male was found deceased of natural causes.

On Wednesday September 4, at approximately 8:38 pm0, Deputy Daniel Jacobson responded to the intersection of Bell Road and Bacon Switch Road in reference to a suspicious person.  Upon arrival, a 21-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Thursday August 29, at approximately 9:17 pm, Deputy J.J. Hernandez made a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Industrial.  The 40-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Saturday August 31, at approximately 11:54 pm, Sergeant Cole McGarry made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Southwest Parkway.  A 38-year-old female passenger was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under two under two hundred grams.

On Sunday September 1, at approximately 4:25 am, Deputy Hunter McCain and Deputy Aaron Perkins responded to the 3000 block of Business 287 J in reference to Harassment.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject has been making harassing telephone calls to her.

On Sunday September 1, at approximately 9:12 am, Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to the 3500 block of Old Friberg Road in reference to a Criminal Mischief.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) cut a barbed wire fence on the property.

On Sunday September 1, at approximately 1:00 pm, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of 9th Street.  The 23-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  A 40-year-old female passenger was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Displaying Wrong, Fictitious, Altered or Obscured Insignia.

On Sunday September 1, at approximately 9:49 pm, Corporal Jason Vandygriff made a traffic stop at the intersection of F.M. 171 and F.M. 174.  The 43-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Display Wrong, Fictitious, Altered or Obscured Insignia and Display Wrong, Fictitious, Altered or Obscured License Plate.

On Sunday August 25, at approximately 8:15 am, Deputy Amanda Price made a traffic stop on Central Frwy. at the Scotland Park exit.  A 35-year-old-female passenger was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Forgery of a Financial Instrument and Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information.

On Tuesday August 27, at approximately 10:11 pm, Lieutenant Greg Wilson made a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Central Frwy.  The 42-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carrying of Weapon.

On Wednesday August 28, at approximately 12:00 pm, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Huntington Lane.  The 28-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Friday August 23, at approximately 12:59 am, Caleb Myers made traffic stop in the 4900 block of Marsha.  The 19-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant for Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Saturday August 24, at approximately 9:57 pm, Deputy J.J. Hernandez made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Ridgeway.  The 47-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and three outstanding warrants for Unrestrained Child, Occupant under 15 years Unrestrained and Open Container.  The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen and was recovered.

On Saturday August 24, at approximately 4:30 pm, Deputy Darrell Waddleton made a traffic stop at the intersection of Ave. E and Harrison.  The 29-year-old male driver fled the scene on foot.  He was placed under arrest a short time later in the 1300 block of Britain.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with Previous Conviction, Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon, Theft of Firearm and an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation.

On Saturday August 24, at approximately 4:33 pm, Deputy Hunter Deason responded to the 1300 block of Britain to look for a subject that had fled from a traffic stop.  The subject was located in a residence.  A 23-year-old female was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution of known Felon.

On Saturday August 24, at approximately 3:17 pm, Deputy Ivan Galarza responded to the 7400 block of North Central Frwy. in reference to an accidental discharge of a firearm.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that she had been struck by a ricochet bullet.

On Saturday August 24, at approximately 1:37 pm, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop at the intersection of 9th and Kemp.  The 19-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday August 25, at approximately 1:23 pm, Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to the 1400 block of F.M. 1177 in reference to a Criminal Mischief.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) damaged a mailbox.

On Sunday August 25, at approximately 9:00 am, Deputy Matthew Schenck made a traffic stop in the 4600 block of Southwest Parkway.  The 28-year-old male driver was issued citations for Expired Registration, Wrong/Fictitious Registration, Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility and Driving While License Invalid. ccent 6;\lsdpri

On Tuesday August 20, at approximately 7:47 pm, Deputy Eric Jerrols made traffic stop at the intersection of Kell East and Harrison.  A 20-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Bond Forfeiture-Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Tuesday August 20, at approximately 11:20 pm, Deputy Brett Brasher made a traffic stop on F.M. 1740.  The 29-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Sunday August 18, at approximately 1:17 pm, Deputy Matthew Schenck and Deputy Sean Bigham responded to the 5300 block of River Road in reference to a Burglary of a Building.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) pried open a door to his shop and stole several items.

On Sunday August 18, at approximately 9:20 pm, Deputy J.J. Hernandez made a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Maurine.  The 22-yar-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday August 18, at approximately 11:42 am, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop at the intersection of 9th and Van Buren.  The 36-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Monday August 19, at approximately 8:49 am, Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to a unoccupied vehicle that had been abandoned next to the roadway in the 7800 block of Seymour Hwy.  Upon arrival, the vehicle was impounded.

On Monday August 19. At approximately 12:41 am, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop in the 800 block of Brook.  The 47-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under two hundred grams, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Theft of a Firearm.

On Tuesday August 13, at approximately 5:21 pm, Corporal Jason Vandygriff responded to the 7400 block of North Expressway in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject entered the business and stole a key ring with several keys on it.

On Tuesday August 13, at approximately 10:17 am, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin responded to the 1200 block of Van Horn in reference to a Burglary of a Vehicle.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that several subjects entered his property and then gained entrance to several vehicles that were parked on the property.

On Tuesday August 13, at approximately 3:13 am, Deputy Hunter McCain made a traffic stop on U.S. 287 near the rest stop exit.  A 29-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Theft of a Firearm, Unlawful Carrying of Weapon and Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Friday August 9, at approximately 10:57 pm, Sergeant Jeff Lee and Deputy Brett Brasher responded to the 4100 block of Business 287 to serve an arrest warrant.  Upon arrival, the 30-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 less than one gram and an outstanding warrant for Criminal Mischief.

On Friday August 9, at approximately 4:23 pm, Deputy Eric Jerrols made a traffic stop at the intersection of Scott and 7th Street.  The 27-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under one gram in a drug free zone.

On Friday August 9, at approximately 12:51 pm, Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to the 5500 block of Professional Drive in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival, a 20-year-old male was barred from the property.

On Friday August 9, at approximately 9:15 am, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin made a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Aldine.  The 48-yuear-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While License Invalid.

On Friday August 9, at approximately 1:34 am, Deputy Daniel Jacobson made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Wellington Lane.  A 23-year-old female passenger was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday August 11, at approximately 10:55 am, Corporal Jeff Penney responded to the intersection of Kell and Fairway to assist the Wichita Falls Police Department with a traffic stop.  Upon arrival, a Wichita County K-9 alerted on the vehicle during a free air sniff.

On Friday August 2, at approximately 8:26 pm, Deputy Ivan Galarza made a traffic stop at the intersection of Lincoln and Scott.  The 58-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with two outstanding warrants for Motion to Revoke-Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Saturday August 3, at approximately 3:28 am, Deputy Hunter McCain checked on a subject walking in the 3800 block of Business 287.  The 36-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest, Search or Transportation.

On Saturday August 3, at approximately 1:23 am, Deputy Daniel Jacobson made a traffic stop at the intersection of 6th and Holliday.  The 54-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with Previous Conviction.

On Sunday August 4, at approximately 12:47 am, Corporal Kristian Valdez made a traffic stop on South Red River Expressway near the I-44 entrance ramp.  The 36-year-old male driver and a 38-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The driver was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and the passenger was charged with Public Intoxication.

On Sunday August 4, at approximately 12:42 am, Sergeant Cole McGarry, Deputy Christopher Bashford and Deputy Caleb Myers responded to the 8600 block of Seymour Hwy. in reference to a single vehicle rollover accident.  Upon arrival, the vehicle was found unoccupied and the driver could not be located.  The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen out of Wichita Falls.

On Monday August 5, at approximately 8:02 pm, Deputy Ivan Galarza made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Sheppard Access Road.  The 20-year-old female driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Tuesday August 6, at approximately 12:14 am, Deputy Aaron Perkins made a traffic stop at the intersection of Ave R and Buchanan.  The 24-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On Wednesday August 7, at approximately 8:16 pm, Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 5300 block of Professional Drive in reference to a Barred Person.  Upon arrival, a 21-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Criminal Trespass and two outstanding warrants for Speeding and Expired Motor Vehicle Registration.
