The Wichita County Jail will be changing visitation hours on January 30, 2017. Effective that date, both jail facilities will offer visitation from 8 AM until 8 PM. Sign-up for visitation will end at 7:00 PM.
Last names starting with A through L visitation is on Tuesday.
Last names starting with M through Z visitation is on Wednesday.
Inmates in Solitary or on Keep Separate List visitation is on Thursday.
There will be NO VISITATION on January 30th, 2017. The first visitation period under the new policy will be on Tuesday, January 31, 2017.
The Wichita County Courthouse will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on May 30th. The Wichita County Jail will still hold normal jail visitation schedule. If you have any questions please call the Sheriff’s Office at (940)766-8170.
The following is the Visitation schedule for the Jail for the upcoming holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are going to run Visitation for 12 hours during these two weeks. Jail Visitation will be from 0800-2000hrs on the following days for the following inmates by their last names:

Tuesday 11/24/15 Letters J-R
Wednesday 11/25/15 Letters S-Z and Solitary/Keep Away
Monday 12/21/15 Letters A-I
Tuesday 12/22/15 Letters J-R

Visitation hours will be canceled today from 1p-3p, November 10, 2014, at the Wichita County Jail Annex facility. Visitation hours will be held at the Wichita County Jail Annex facility from 6pm-8pm tonight as normal. Visitation hours will be conducted as normal at the Downtown Jail Facility.
The chart below depicts the daily population numbers for the Wichita County Jail for the first three months of 2014. As always, information on currently incarcerated individuals may be found here. So far, the maximum population this year for the jail was 520 while the lowest number of people in jail is 454.
