On Tuesday August 25, at approximately 12:25 am, Deputy John Warner and Deputy Brian Koschak responded to U.S. 287 rest area in reference to an abandoned vehicle.  Upon arrival, the vehicle was impounded after the owner could not be located.

On Tuesday August 25, at approximately 11:52 am, Deputy Victoria Hatcher responded to the 3100 block of Horseshoe Bend Estates in reference to an Identity Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) opened a credit card account using her identifying information and without her consent.

On Tuesday August 25, at approximately 4:20 pm, Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 4900 block of F.M. 367 west in reference to an Animal Complaint.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a horse appeared on his property.  The animal was impounded after the owner could not be located.

On Tuesday August 25, at approximately 8:15 pm, Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 3600 block of F.M. 367 east in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered an open structure under construction and stole an 18 volt Dewalt Hammer Driver valued at $125.00, a 18 volt Dewalt Mini Impact Wrench valued at $125.00, an 18 volt Dewalt Skill Saw valued at $125.00, an 18 volt Dewalt Saw Zaw valued at $125.00, a Dewalt Radio valued at $150.00, five Dewalt 18 volt batteries valued at $450.00 and a Dewalt Battery Charged valued at $100.00.

On Wednesday August 26, at approximately 1:28 am, Sergeant Mark Whipple made a traffic stop at the intersection of 5th Street and Brook.  The 26-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While License Invalid-Enhanced.
