FEMA representatives are available in Wichita Falls to assist Wichita County residents who sustained property damage during the recent floods to register for assistance.

 

FEMA’s registration intake center will be open through June 17 at the Wichita Falls Public Library, 2nd Floor, 600 11th Street, Wichita Falls. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; closed Sunday.

 

You can apply for flood recovery assistance whether you had insurance or not. Please bring a driver’s license, address of the damage, itemized description of the damage, and policy number and coverage description of any insurance. The registration takes about 20 minutes.

 

Those who are unable to get to the library may register by calling 1-800-621-3362 or by going online to  www.disasterassistance.gov.
