On Friday March 13, at approximately 1:12 pm, Corporal Mark Whipple, Deputy Kristian Valdez and Deputy Patrick Bradford responded to the 5300 block of Professional Drive in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that she found a child standing outside of her door crying.  The parent of the child was located and the child was returned.  The case will be turned over to Child Protective Services for further investigation.

On Friday March 13, at approximately 9:29 pm, Deputy Cole McGarry made a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Jacksboro Hwy.  The 51-year-old male driver and a 41-year-old female passenger were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The driver was charged with two outstanding warrants for No Seat Belt and Failure to Maintain Proof of Financial Responsibility.  The Passenger was charged with an outstanding warrant for Theft by Check over $20.00 under $500.00.

On Saturday March 14, at approximately 5:20 pm, Deputy Roy Biter made a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Ave I.  The driver and the passenger were found not to have a valid drivers license and no insurance on the vehicle.  The vehicle was impounded.

On Saturday March 14, at approximately 4:04 am, Deputy Greg Wilson stopped an individual walking in the 200 block of North Scott.  The 42-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Public Intoxication.

On Saturday March 14, at approximately 4:33 pm, Deputy Ralph Burdick made a traffic stop at the intersection of North Central Freeway Access Road and Iowa Park Road.  Deputy Chris Barnett and his K-9 partner Abel were requested to respond.  Upon their arrival, Deputy Abel conducted an open air search around the vehicle.  Deputy Abel indicated a positive alert for the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.  After a search of the vehicle, the 21-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Saturday March 14, at approximately 5:52 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop on U.S. 287 at the Clay County Line.  Deputy Chris Barnett and his K-9 Partner Abel were requested to respond.  Upon their arrival, Deputy Abel conducted an open air search around the vehicle.  Deputy Abel indicated a positive alert for the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.  29.4 pounds of marijuana was found in the vehicle.  The 52-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana over five pounds under fifty pounds.

On Saturday March 14, at approximately 2:15 am, Deputy Brandon Mason made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Harlan Lane.  The 30-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

On Saturday March 14, at approximately 11:53 pm, Deputy Todd Kinsey responded the 7400 block of Burkburnett Road in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown male had entered the residence through a boarded up window.  The Reporting Person reported that the subject fled the scene prior to Deputies arrival and that nothing was taken from the residence.

On Sunday March 15, at approximately 10:59 pm, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin and Deputy Christopher Ramos responded to the 1300 block of Giddings in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that there had been a verbal disturbance prior to Deputies arrival.

On Monday March 16, at approximately 1:46 am, Deputy Greg Wilson checked on an occupied vehicle in the 200 block of North Scott.  The 18-year-old occupant was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
