Daily Crime Brief, November 18, 2020

On November 16, 2020, at approximately 9:09 a.m., Deputy Johnny Routon, Deputy Matthew Schenck, and Deputy Brett Brasher were responded to the 1200 block of Ridgeway in reference to a criminal trespass.  Upon arrival, a 35 year old female was placed under arrest and then transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  She is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 less than 1g. 

On November 16, 2020, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Deputy Johnny Routon and Deputy Matthew Schenck conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  The 21 year old male driver of the vehicle was issued citations for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Driver’s License, and Expired Registration.

On November 17, 2020, at approximately 1:41 a.m., Lieutenant Greg Wilson conducted a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Kemp Boulevard.  The 43 year old male driver and 44 year old male passenger of the vehicle were placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  Both subjects are being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 under 1 gram.  The passenger is being charged with an outstanding Wichita County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance as well. 

On November 17, 2020, at approximately 10:55 a.m., Deputy Brett Brasher and Corporal Kristian Valdez conducted a traffic stop in the area of Galveston Street and Mississippi Street. The 25 year old male driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  He is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 Over 4g – Under 200g as well an outstanding Wichita County warrant for Failure to Comply with Registration Requirements and an outstanding Parole Warrant. 

On November 17, 2020, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Deputy Brett Brasher and Corporal Kristian Valdez responded to the 400 block of Burkburnett Road in reference to a disturbance.  Upon arrival, a 31 year old female was barred from the property and released.

 On November 18, 2020, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Lieutenant Greg Wilson conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Brook Avenue.  The 24 year old female driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  She is being charged with Driving While Intoxicated Enhanced.
