On Wednesday November 26, at approximately 1:15 am, Deputy Ralph Burdick and Deputy Brandon Mason made a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Southridge. The 20-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair.
On Wednesday November 26, at approximately 2:00 am, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin and Sergeant Eric Wisch made a traffic stop at the intersection of Windthorst Road and U.S. 287. The vehicle then took off at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped on F.M. 890 near Hwy. 240. The 25-year old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle.
