On July 14, 2020, at approximately 11:58 a.m., Deputy Brett Brasher was responded to the 1300 block of Clover Lane.  Upon arrival the reporting party stated she witnessed a white male assaulting a white female.  After a short foot pursuit the suspect, a 40 year old male, was placed under arrest.  The victim, a 44 year old female, stated the male struck her in the face several times.  The male was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and is being charged with Assault Family Violence Causing Injury and Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 less than 1 gram. 

On July 15, 2020, at approximately 10:24 p.m., Lieutenant Greg Wilson located an abandoned vehicle at the East Road underpass of Interstate 44.  The vehicle did not have a valid registration and had a wrong registration sticker displayed.  The vehicle was impounded to prevent the consequences of theft. 

On July 15, 2020, at approximately 7:31 p.m., Deputy Jorge Ramirez and Corporal Jason Vandygriff were dispatched to the 1400 block of Highway 79 North in reference to a possible criminal trespass.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated he wanted two males barred from the property.  A barred persons report was completed and the two male subjects were released from the scene.
