On February 21, 2020 at approximately 8:28 p.m., Sergeant Cole McGarry conducted a traffic stop in the area of 32nd Street and Travis Street.  The 20 year old male driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  He is being charged with two outstanding City of Wichita Falls Municipal Court warrants for Occupant over 15 Unsecured by Seat Belt, and No Driver License in Possession.  He was also issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

On February 21, 2020 at approximately 2:25 p.m., Deputy Christopher Bashford was dispatched to the 1000 block of Huntington Lane in reference to an animal complaint.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated an unknown dog had been found on the property and looked injured.  Wichita Falls Animal Control responded and took possession of the animal. 

On February 22, 2020 at approximately 11:45 p.m., Deputy James Griffith conducted a traffic stop in the area of Old Iowa Park Road and Landon Street.  The 23 year old female driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  She is being charged with two outstanding City of Wichita Falls Municipal Court warrants for Ran Red Light and Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility.

On February 22, 2020 at approximately 8:24 p.m., Deputy Hunter Deason and Corporal Jason Vandygriff responded to the 12000 block of McFall Road in reference to a possible burglary in progress.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated they witnessed two to four people with flashlights in a residence known to be vacant.  Deputies did not locate anyone on the property, but collected evidence and the investigation is ongoing. 

On February 22, 2020 at approximately 1:06 p.m., Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 5000 block of State Highway 240 in reference to a burglary.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated an unknown subject broke through the security gate and removed several items from the property.  A red two-door Suzuki Swift sedan valued $800, two 6-foot welding tables valued $600, and other miscellaneous items were discovered to be missing totaling in all $2300.  

On February 23, 2020 at approximately 8:54 p.m., Deputy Sean Bigham conducted a traffic stop in the area of Buchanan Street and Avenue H.  The 22 year old male driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  He is being charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces. 

On February 23, 2020 at approximately 11:09 a.m., Corporal Kristian Valdez responded to the 3000 block of Clovis Drive in reference to an animal complaint.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated a brown horse was on the property and they did not know who it belonged to.  After several attempts to locate the owner of the horse, the animal was impounded and taken to the Wichita County Humane Society.
