On June 17, 2019 at approximately 10:49 a.m., Deputy Matthew Schenck conducted a traffic stop in the in the area of Loop 11 and Seymour Highway.  The 36 year old male driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  He is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in PG1 Under 1gram, a State Jail Felony. 

On June 17, 2019 at approximately 12:04 p.m., Deputy Joshua McGuinn responded to the 3100 block of Hammon Road in response to a theft of prescription medicine.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated an unknown suspect had removed prescription pills from his personal belongings.  The reported quantity of pills is valued at approximately $92.09.  A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing. 

On June 18, 2019 at approximately 11:38 a.m., Deputy Joshua McGuinn responded to the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office in reference to a possibly forgery.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated she was sent a check for $3,844.00 check from a Hanson Bridgett LLP.  The issued check did not clear the financial institution and was returned.  A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

On June 18, 2019 at approximately 11:10 a.m., Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Bray Road in reference to a subject with a possible felony warrant.  Upon arrival, deputies located a 19 year old female.  The female was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. She is being charged with and outstanding Wichita County warrant for Burglary of a Habitation as well as two outstanding Wichita Falls Municipal Court warrants for Passing Stationary Emergency Vehicle and Speeding.
