On Thursday May 16, at approximately 3:00 pm, Deputy Greg Anderson heard several gunshots while in the 5500 block of Professional Drive. Upon further investigation, a male subject was found to have been shot. After providing first aid until first responders arrival, the investigation was turned over to the Wichita Falls Police Department.
On Monday May 20, at approximately 1:43 am, Corporal Kristian Valdez made a traffic stop at the intersection of Central Frwy. and Maurine. The 23-year-old male driver, a 20-year-old female passenger and a 23-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver and the female passenger were charged with Possession of Marijuana over four ounces under five pounds. The male passenger was charged with Possession of Marijuana over four ounces under five pounds and Failure to Identify.
On Monday May 20, at approximately 5:40 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Jacksboro. The 39-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over four grams under four hundred grams.
On Tuesday May 21, at approximately 11:53 pm, Deputy Roy Biter and Deputy Darrell Waddleton made a traffic stop at the intersection of Ave. K and Monroe. The 21-year-old male driver was issued a citation for No Drivers License. The vehicle was impounded.
